Rotary club of karur angels
On 4-11-17, we organised our next edition of Vaagai Sooda Vaa our life skills training program at Eurokids School.
Trainers for the event were Rtn. Lakshmi Balaji and Rtn. Saratha.
Topic- “EMOTIONS & TIME MANAGEMENT”
Objective of the program was to impart life skills to teens, helping them to grow stronger and motivating them to excel in life.
on 17-10-2017 the third Navaratna project – “Value Your Spouse” was conducted in Hotel Hemala.
Chief guest was district governor Gopalakrishnan and Rtn Rajagovindsamy and his wife Rtn Asha from Madurai west.
We also celebrated our Charter day and Diwali celebrations together.
On 14-10-2017 our club conducted the second edition of VAAGAI SOODA VAA our signature life skill training program.
The venue was 
Eurokids school
The training session was taken by Rtn vasanthamani
On 13-10-2017, we conducted the WINS training program at the panchayat union school, manavasi to educate the rural children on the importance of washing hands and its importance in personal health & hygiene.
WINS program was executed by First Lady Neelavathi .
80 children had participated and were educated through this session.
on 12-10-2017, GEMS RYLA was conducted at three schools.
Rtn Laxshmi was the RYLA chair at Meenakshi school
Rtn Yasmin was the RYLA chair at GOVT high school .
Rtn Geetha was the RYLA chair at Saradha school .
Trainers from IFPT trained and motivated the students. 280 students had participated.
VAAGAI SOODA VAA a signature life skill training program for school children was conducted on 7-10-2017
Venue was Euro kids school
Cheif guest was Rtn.santhosh past president of wings club and he inaugurated the event.
80 children from three government schools had participated.
On 5-10-2017 we did tree plantation at the Attur government High school
50 saplings were planted in the school and each saplings were named after the boy who is going to take care thus ensuring its sustainability.
The District Interact RYLA named as PASANGA was held @ Pillars, Madurai on 1-10-2017
The RYLA was hosted by RC of Madurai Elite.
It was a three days program and the entire training sessions were handled by Rotarians of Karur Angels.
Chief Guest was DG – Rtn.Gopalakrishnan.
35 students had participated in the RYLA.
GOLU Celebration
On 27-9-2017, our members celebrated the GOLU display at Past President Meena’s House.
We conducted an awareness session on menstrual hygiene and health on 22.9.2017.
Venue- Meenakshi higher secondary school.
The session on awareness on menstrual health was conducted by PP Rtn.Neelavathi .
90 students attended the session and got awareness by this program.
