The Valediction program for the President and office bearers took place at VNC Mahal on 30.6.17
RI Director VNC Basker and Actress Gowthami were the Chief Guests.

Despite the scorching summer heat in Karur, 11 of our members attended our regular club meeting and discussed on club matters & upcoming projects.

VAAGAI SOODA VAA a RYLA training program for school students was conducted at the Texcity Hall on April 3rd 2017 and the valediction was presided by Rtn.Raja Govindasamy.

Polio Vaccination camps on National Immunization Days
Our club again this year also administered polio vaccines to babies under the age of 7 yrs on The National Immunization days at a booth in the mini bus stand. Along with our Rotaractors, our club members administered oral vaccines to babies on travel and made sure no babies were left out in the bus stand.
The immunization drive was done on both the NID days on 02-04-2017 & 30-04-2017.
ROTARY BLOSSOM – Mission Mental Health Screening Camp
ROTARY BLOSSOM – A mental health screening camp was organised by our club. This unique project that addresses the mental health issues of rural people who are unaware of mental issues was started by PDG Theenachandran during his year 2015-16 and has successfully screened thousands of people and treated many across our district.
Our club actively participates in this project and holds screening camps to identify mental issues.
The camp was organised on March 3rd 2017.
Governor Official Visit to our Club
Our club’s Governor official visit was held on the 10th of March 2017 at Hotel NTS Palace.
Assistant Governor Rtn.Meena was present and the District team scrutinized our club records and appreciated for the well maintenance of records and projects karur angels are doing.

புன்னகை பூக்கள் a self confidence motivational program for Municipal workers on International Womens day was held by our Club.
Municipal officials and Rtn.Balaji, Dist Secretary elect presided the event and gave away gifts to the women workers.

ROCK – RYLA for Kongu College Students
ROCK – A RYLA program was conducted for the students of KONGU college of Arts & Science in Karur on 24th & 25th of February 2017.
80 students were trained in this two days RYLA program
